History
The story of Black Sea Petroleum begins with a vision: to build the very first full-cycle oil refinery in Georgia and give the country control over its own energy future.
Located in Kulevi, the refinery is being constructed with advanced technologies to deliver Naphtha, Fuel Oil, Gas Oil, Vacuum Gas Oil, Tar, Bitumen, Aviation Fuel, Euro 5 Diesel, Gasoline 92/95. With the final investment exceeding $800 million and a phased nominal capacity of up to 4.5 million tons annually, the project stands as one of Georgia’s most significant infrastructure undertakings.
